You can link Apty Content like Workflows, videos, and links to an Announcement to provide additional guidance to your end users in their flow of work. For example, you've created a new Workflow to assist users on learning how to create a New Lead in Salesforce. You can attach the Workflow to an Announcement while creating or editing one in order to play the Workflow using it. Announcements aid in drawing the user's attention as soon as they land on the appropriate page, allowing them to access the content associated with it.
Launching the Apty Content through an Announcement is a two-step process:
Step 1: Create Apty Content
- Workflows: You must create the Workflow before attaching it to the Announcement. For more information, see Create Workflows.
Note:
- The only Workflows that can be attached are those that were created on the page where the Announcement is to be created. For example, you cannot play a Workflow created on the Profile page through the Announcement created for the Dashboard page.
- To play the Workflow using the Announcement on the appropriate page, one of the Workflow steps must be connected to the Frame of the same page during the Workflow creation or update process. To learn more, see Mark a Workflow Step as the Entry Point.
- Knowledge Center Content: Any third-party content such as videos, links, images, and texts must first be stored in your Admin Portal's Knowledge Centre. When creating Apty content like Workflows, Validations, Launchers, Tooltips, and Announcements, you may subsequently be able to access the Knowledge Centre content through the Apty Studio. For more information, see Add Videos, Links, Images, and Texts to your Knowledge Center.
Step 2: Attach the Apty Content to the Announcement
Follow the steps below to attach Workflow and Knowledge Center Content to the Announcement:

Once you have accessed your application in the web browser and launched the Apty Studio, you can begin creating or editing your Announcement. To gain more insight into when you can attach Apty Content to Announcements, see Create Announcements.
