What is Activity Tracking

An Activity is a group of steps or events that a user does to complete a certain process. An Activity in Salesforce can be creating a New Lead, for instance. To get an overview of the user engagement with the Activities on your application, you can use Apty's Activity Tracking feature that enables you to capture and track how frequently the Activity has been started, cancelled, and completed, analyze challenges and assist you in making better enterprise software adoption decisions.

In essence, Activity is a combination of a user's step-by-step actions in the host application, which are registered by tracking events and properties identifying the elements that a user interacts with.
