- to increase convenience for your users by allowing them to perform actions directly and quickly from the announcement
How to create CTA announcements?
While creating any announcement from your Studio, you will get the option to Add CTAs. In order to add CTA buttons to your announcements, follow the path below:
|PATH: Go to your Studio > Select the application > click on the + sign on the top right corner to add a new announcement > Add heading and content for your announcement message > scroll down to find the CTA Actions.|
Under CTA Actions, you will get the following options.
Ok: This button records the accept action from the user. When the end-user clicks on the OK button, it will automatically close the pop-up window from the application screen.
Dismiss: This action temporarily hides the announcement message and it will appear upon reloading/refreshing the application window.
Hide: This action closes the announcement message and it will not appear for that user again.
Launch: This action will guide users to the attached artifact. There are three types of Launch options available - Launch a workflow, launch a Video, or launch a website

CTA Announcement Use Cases
Here are a few use cases of CTA announcements to get your gears turning.
Remind until the user takes action
Let us say, you sent away an announcement about an important update and the users need to perform an action as soon as they get the announcement message, but some users get the message while they are in a business meeting. So they couldn't go through the announcement and perform the required action. But with the help of the Launch and Hide CTA buttons, you can now make sure that users not only get the important update message but also get reminded until they perform the required action. All you need to do is customize the buttons as shown below.
CTA 1: First add a primary CTA for the "Update" action
Launch URL -> Click to Update Now
CTA 2: Add a secondary CTA for the "Remind me later" action
Hide -> Remind me later
Guided CTA announcement to a target group
Combine the power of user segmentation, announcements, and CTAs to inform teams about an upcoming business deal or remind them about an in-app project deadline. Additionally, you can attach a workflow/document/video/a website link in the same announcement message to help users perform the task. In order to target a specific group, use the segmentation method.
CTA 1: To record users accepting to perform the task
Ok-> Do it now
CTA 2: To remind users who are busy performing a task on the application
Hide-> Remind me again
CTA 3: To launch a guide to help users perform the task
Launch-> Guide me
Turn on the Accept when checked on option if needed.
These are just a few examples to give you an idea about the endless possibilities of CTA options inside the announcement. Apty gives you options to customize CTAs according to your business requirement.
