Apty Studio and how does it help?

Apty Studio is implemented as a native application and is one of the crucial components of the Apty suite. It is the primary tool for connecting with a browser and creating instructional content (such as Workflows, Validations, Tooltips, Launchers, and Announcements), and laying it over the surface of the hosting application with an ability to preview the results in a live mode.

Apty Studio is compatible with all modern browsers but is recommended to be used with Google Chrome. Although adding new elements to the surface of a hosting application implies JavaScript code injection and interaction with DOM elements of the opened page, Apty Studio covers 90% of common use cases for creating content and validating input from the end user and requires no coding skills from the System Administrator for adding commonly used instructional materials. Nonetheless, Apty gives room for adding functions for performing more sophisticated procedures for specific use cases.

To start working with Apty Studio, Administrators and instructional content creators need to install the desktop editor application available for download from the Admin Console.

To login to Apty Studio:

1.   Once the Apty is installed and added to the respective application, open Apty Studio. Provide Server URL (the same link used to access Admin Console).

2.   Provide the Username and Password and click on Login. Note: The credentials that you use to login are created in the Admin Console.
