As part of our ongoing improvements to the Content Analytics dashboards, we have added Trend Lines to enhance data visualization. This functionality enables users to monitor the performance of content over time, mirroring the trend lines available in the Apty Usage dashboards.
Key Benefits

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze tool engagement across specified time periods.
-
Enhanced Insights: Gain a clearer understanding of content effectiveness, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
The addition of Trend Lines is applicable across all tools within the Content Analytics dashboards, including:
-
Workflows
-
Tooltips
-

This enhancement enables users to gain insights into engagement trends for each tool over specified time periods.
Accessing Trend Lines
Users can find the Trend Lines in the Content Analytics dashboard by selecting any tool (e.g., Workflows). The trend line chart will be displayed at the bottom of the tool's detail page, allowing for easy monitoring of engagement over time.
Workflow Enhancements: Custom Wait Time & Jump Step Timer
Configurable Workflow Failure Wait Time: Users can now adjust the workflow error wait time based on application performance. The default of 15 seconds can be modified in the Application Settings under the Advanced Panel to prevent premature error pop-ups for slower applications.
Jump Step Timer: A timer can now be configured for the Jump (Split) step, ensuring workflows wait for slow-loading application elements before continuing execution. This can be customized directly in the workflow editor under Split Step Settings.
These updates enhance workflow reliability and flexibility, minimizing interruptions in environments with varying loading speeds.
Review this article on how to configure the split time for your workflow step.
WCAG Compliance: Image and Video Enhancements
Apty has made updates to comply with WCAG AA standards for accessibility:
-
Alternative Text for Images: When adding an image in Knowledge Content via the Studio/Admin Portal, users can now provide alternative text. This text will be displayed if the image fails to load and will be read by screen readers.
-
Title for Videos: When adding a video in Knowledge Content via the Studio/Admin Portal, users can now provide a title. This title will be read by screen readers to enhance accessibility.
These enhancements support Apty's efforts toward full WCAG AA compliance, ensuring a more accessible and inclusive experience for all users.
