Setting Expiry Time for Content Display

A brand-new feature in Apty Workflow gives the content creators, the ability to set an expiry time for content display. Workflow Expiry Time feature is a game-changer for workflows, providing content creators with greater control over the user experience.

Here's how it works:

Within Apty Workflow, an expiration timer has been added. If a user becomes inactive while engaged in a workflow, the workflow will be terminated after a specified expiration time, as set by the content creators. Content Creators have the flexibility to customize the expiry time, with a minimum setting of 5 minutes and a maximum of 30 minutes.

To set the expiry time, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open Apty Studio.
  2. Click on Workflows.
  3. Open any existing workflow and click on Settings.
  4. Navigate to the Advanced section.
  5. In the "Expires after: 5 minutes" field, set the desired expiry time, with a maximum limit of 30 minutes.

To set expired time while creating new workflow, you can find the option under Advanced section.

Benefits of the Feature:

When a user is inactive during a workflow and the timer is set (for example, at 5 minutes), ballon will get disappeared. This functionality not only enhances user engagement but also ensures accuracy in Apty analytics.

Additionally, if the browser is closed, the workflow is considered abandoned after the set duration of 5 minutes.
