Display Announcements using Permalinks – Apty Support

You might want to provide users a quick preview of the Announcement on your application. In such a scenario, you can use the Announcement's Permalink to instantly display the Announcement to your users saving time and effort.

Note:

Ensure that you have published the Announcement before using it's Permalink to display the Announcement on your application. To learn more, see Publishing Apty Content(version 4.x or above).

To learn how to display an Announcement on Salesforce using it's Permalink you obtained from the Apty Studio,

1. Login to the Apty Studio after launching it on your web browser.

2. Click Select Application.

3. Select SFL to open Salesforce on your browser.

Note:

SFL is a default keyword for Salesforce application.

4. Once the application opens, click Announcements on the Apty Studio.

5. Select the required Announcement from the provided list.

Note:

Ensure that you select the appropriate Frame to connect it to your application page so that it displays the appropriate Announcements created on that Frame. If a Frame already exists, Apty Studio will automatically connect to it and display your Announcements. To learn more, see What are Frames?.

6. Click the vertical ellipsis and then select Copy Permalink.

7. Navigate to your webpage>replace the URL Parameter with the copied Permalink and then hit Enter.

8. The Announcement will display on your application.
