This article describes the steps for adding new steps to a freshly created Workflow and inserting extra steps to previously created Workflow.

To add a step to a new Workflow:
While the Workflow is created, the Apty Studio automatically prompts a user to add steps to it. A new step can be added to Workflow any time, as well as a Workflow can be edited or deleted, providing that it is in the Draft Status. If the Workflow has been created, but no Steps were added to it, follow the instructions below:
1. Login to the Apty Studio and select the application you want to work with. The Apty menu opens.
2. Click on the Workflows Icon. The list of the Workflows created for this application opens.
3. Click the name of a Workflow you where you would like to add an extra step. In the given example, we are attempting to add an extra step to the Login Workflow.
4. Click Add New Step and proceed with step configuration. To keep adding more Steps, follow the application flow.

To insert a step into an existing Workflow:
To see the list of created Workflows, login to the Apty Studio and select the application you want to work with. The Apty menu opens.
1. Click on the Workflows Icon. The list of the Workflows created for this application opens. 2. Click the name of a Workflow you where you would like to add an extra step. In the given example, we are attempting to add an extra step to the Login Workflow. NOTE: The Workflows will be displayed as a list. Green dots next to the Workflow indicate that the Workflow has been published. Yellow dots indicate that the Workflow is in the Draft mode. Workflows can only be edited when they are in Draft mode.

3. The list of steps for the selected Workflow opens. 4. To add a new Step between previously created Steps, hover between the numbers of relevant steps and click on the + (Plus) button highlighted in blue (as shown on the screen). 5. Proceed with configuring step's content, selecting screen elements to interact with, setting balloon position, and adding advanced options. |
